It is not the analyses, surveys and test results that are interesting. It is what we use the results for and how we use them. We probably all agree on that, but what then?

It still requires good and qualified guidance to choose the right tests and analyses and also the right contents to ensure that the data, information and insights you receive are directly applicable and helpful in terms of the business, organisational or human resources challenges you are faced with.

But even when these aspects are in order, it still takes quite an effort to use data, information and insight to increase performance. Because this is when habits, ways of thinking, attitudes and behaviour need to change. So the report may be archived for a later point when there is time to look at it. Not necessarily by the people who ordered the analysis, but by those who are to implement it, to translate it to everyday behaviour.

At People & Performance, I am part of the team that works with business and organisational analyses - nationally as well as internationally.
